This website was created in an attempt to bring information and create interest about the Memphis Grizzlies to as many people as possible. I've been a dedicated fan of this team since they moved here from Vancouver in 2001 and have loved watching this team grow from a perennial bottom of the barrel team into a championship contender over the years.
This past season was the best year the Grizzlies' franchise has ever experienced, finishing the year 56-26 for a winning percentage of 68%. Although the team and Lionel Hollins couldn't reach an agreement for him to return to continue being head coach of the Grizzlies, the team shouldn't skip a beat with Dave Joerger taking over the helm.
Joerger has been an assistant with the franchise since 2007 so everyone on the roster has varying degrees of relationships with him, which will hopefully make the transition easier for the team. Regardless of how the team performs in coming years, I plan to run this website and continue to bring updates, news, and more about the Memphis Grizzles to as many people as possible.
